AW-189, manufactured by AgustaWestland S.P.A is developed from the air frame of the AW-149 and offshore equipment of the AW-139 – a very popular aircraft model with more than 650 units sold in the last 10 years.

AW-189 is equipped with 2 GE CT7-2E1 engines from General Electric with a maximum take-off weight of 8,600 kg (maximum of 19 pax), cruise speed of 269-287 km/h, and maximum range of 907 km. AW-189 complies with all safety standards from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) as well as all requirements from the Oil & Gas producer aircraft guidelines (OGP).
