Short-term goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n July 22, 2024:<\/strong> Target date for the Ministry of Construction to issue an official decision on the overall planning adjustment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n August 19, 2024:<\/strong> Target date to commence the first components of the project.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Long-term goal:<\/strong><\/p>\n December 31, 2026:<\/strong> Completion of Phase 1 and the official reception of the first international flights \u2014 an ambitious milestone requiring synchronized coordination and extraordinary efforts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Outstanding Scale \u2013 The Stature of a New Mega Airport<\/strong><\/p>\n Gia B\u00ecnh Airport is being shaped with top-tier scale and technical specifications, fully capable of becoming a modern aviation hub for the region.<\/p>\n Airport classification and capacity:<\/strong> Designed to meet ICAO 4E standards, capable of accommodating the world\u2019s largest and most modern wide-body aircraft such as Boeing B777, B787 Dreamliner, Airbus A350, and A321.<\/p>\n Planning area:<\/strong> The total land area covers more than 1,960 hectares. The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has clarified that the overall capacity of this shared airspace is finite.<\/p>\n Therefore, this is not simply an arithmetic addition of capacities, but rather a scientific reallocation of airspace and traffic flow.
